Butler’s, the independent coffee house in Radcliffe on Trent, is the perfect place to chill out & watch the world go by while sipping a perfect coffee & eating one or more of their fabulous selection of delicious cakes & pastries. Or you can take-out The cafe is cosy and welcoming. The range of drinks and edibles is varied and delicious, and the service is great. Our delicious assortment included: Americano Pastal De Natas (egg-custard pastry) Chicken, Roasted Peppers & Spinach sandwich If you haven’t been to Butlers, I thoroughly recommend a visit. I’m sure you’ll return! FINAL WORD: Butlers Coffee House can also be found in #Bingham.

Beautiful coffee and food. However, the seating could be a little bit more comfortable. A metal bar acting as a foot rest wouldn't go a mess underneath the seats by the window. The other seating against the wall at the front of the cafe is a little bit too shallow so it feels like you can't get comfortable. The staff were really friendly, and as a self professed coffee snob - the coffee was on point.

Butler's Radcliffe recommended try their sister coffee shop in Bingham. The original Butler's named after the family butcher whose premises they now occupy. Head barista Luke, an asset to any coffee shop. A well crafted cappuccino, served in correct size cup for a cappuccino. Why do so many coffee shops not use the correct size cup? Avocado on toast. Please no chilli flakes. A sausage on the side. OMG, the flapjack. I took away to eat later. I recommended, for guest coffee try Coffee Gems. Another suggestion. Contact Standart. When I talked with the cofounder last year, I was asked, what did I think of their idea, supply a coffee shop with copies of Standart (they used to have in Kigali aka Outpost), a code will give a cut to the coffee shop, if a customer takes out a subscription. I thought a great idea. I don't know if it was implemented. A little wander around Bingham, a small market town, roughly midway between Nottingham and Newark. An excellent greengrocer cum zero waste shop in the market square. A market every Thursday, farmers market on the third Saturday of the month. The market has a butter cross, but looked modern, not medieval.

We feel so lucky to have this gem right on our doorstep! The atmosphere here is warm, welcoming, and just perfect for a cozy catch-up or a quiet coffee break. The food is always freshly cooked to order, and you can truly taste the quality and care in every bite. The staff are outstanding—kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in making every visit enjoyable. And, of course, the coffee is fantastic! This place really ticks all the boxes. Highly recommend!
